Riverdance

Say Goodnight, Gracie

Say Goodnight Gracie is a fascinating tour through an American century with the perfect comical guide, the wry and perfectly charming George Burns. The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (musical)

In the musical comedy, The 25th Annual Putman County Spelling Bee , six young peoplein the throes of puberty, overseen by grown-ups who barely managed to escape childhood themselves, learn that winning isn't everything and that losing doesn't necessarily make you a loser.

This hilarious tale of overachievers' angst chronicles the experience of six adolescent outsiders vying for the spelling championship of a lifetime. The show's Tony Award-winning creative team has created the unlikelies of hit musicals about the unlikeliest of heroes: a quirky yet charming cast of outsiders for whom a spelling bee is the one place where they can stand out and fit in at the same time.

The Rat Pack

Twelve Angry Men (Play)

Twelve Jurors. Twelve walks of life. And only two ways to rule: guilty or not guilty.

In Twelve Angry Men , a young delinquent awaits sentencing for the manslaughter of his aggressive father. Twelve jurors are corralled in a room for their deliberations in a murder trial. One juror feels that there is a "reasonable doubt" - to the frustration of his eleven colleagues - thereby preventing a quick verdict. During the heated debate, the hidden preconceptions and assumptions of the jurors are revealed. When faced with playing the hangman, each juror is forced to face himself.

Recommended for: Ages 11 and up .

Wicked (musical)

Long before Dorothy drops in, two other girls meet in the land of Oz. One, born with emerald-green skin, is smart, fiery and misunderstood. The other is beautiful, ambitious and very popular. Wicked tells the story of their remarkable odyssey, how these two unlikely friends grow to become the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good Witch.

Wicked-the Untold Story of the Witches of Oz is a new musical with music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz and book by Winnie Holzman based on the 1995 novel by Gregory Maguire. The musical is directed by 2003 Tony Award winner Joe Mantello and features musical staging by Wayne Cilento.

Recommended for: Ages 8 and up.
